Ms. Maria Balzan is a state registered Occupational Therapist who has been working with persons with disability for the past 4 years. She was inspired to choose this career by her sister who has Autism and Global Development Delay.

She is currently working in a residential home for persons with mental health difficulties and disabilities ranging from younger children to older adults. 

Ms. Balzan is currently continuing her professional knowledge and reading for a MSc in Sensory Integration with Sheffield Hallam University. 

She has also been giving lectures with Learning Works to share her knowledge and passion regarding disability.
