Ms Maria Lisa Gilson is a warranted Clinical Psychologist and Family Therapist with a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and their families, presenting with feeding and eating difficulties. She completed a Bachelor in Psychology in 2009, and in 2014 volunteered at Dar Kenn ghall-Sahhtek, to support individuals in their recovery process from eating disorders. Since then, she continued her studies at the University of Malta and obtained a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology in 2017. She believes in the involvement of the family for lasting therapeutic change, and because of this in 2020 she specialised in systemic psychotherapy, and obtained a Masters degree in Family Therapy and Systemic Practice.
