Matthew Sciberras, is a dedicated professional with a strong background in sports management and administration. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Physical Activity from the University of Malta and an Advanced Diploma in Sport from MCAST, Mr Sciberras is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the University of Malta.
With a wealth of experience in leadership and management roles, Mr Sciberras has honed his skills in various settings. His passion for sports, particularly football, has been evident throughout his career in different nurseries and clubs in Malta. Later on , Mr Sciberras has transitioned into coaching, contributing to the development of athletes with intellectual and physical disabilities through the Young Athletes Programme with Special Olympics Malta. Prior to his current role as a Secretariat member at the Malta Football Association, Mr Sciberras gained valuable experience as an Events and Marketing Assistant at SportMalta. His commitment to professional growth is further demonstrated by his successful completion of the UEFA Certificate in Football Management programme. Currently, Mr Sciberras also serves as a Match Manager for UEFA EURO U21 and UEFA Club Competitions matches held in Malta, showcasing his expertise in sports management and administration.
