Ms Maria Sapiano is a registered mental health nurse working within mental health services. She first graduated as a general nurse after successfully completing her Diploma in Health Sciences from the University of Malta in 2012. She continued her professional and academic development by reading for the Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health Nursing at the University of Malta, also obtaining her registration as a mental health nurse in 2017. In 2020, she completed her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Nursing with Distinction. Maria’s passion for clinical education and practice development influenced her dissertation to focus her thesis on improving the learning experience within the mental health setting.
