Rosette Farrugia-Bonello 

Lecturing Sectors: Health & Social Care

Rosette Farrugia-Bonello is Deputy Director at the International Institute on Ageing United Nations-Malta (INIA). 

She graduated in Psychology and Communication studies and in Gerontology and Geriatrics, (University of Malta); holds a Master of Science in Dementia Studies, (University of Stirling) and is a certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional (CMDCP). 

She lectures at the Department of Gerontology and Dementia Studies, University of Malta, and is an honorary member of TATA Institute of Social Sciences, India (TISS).

Ms. Farrugia-Bonello is chief editor of the International Journal on Ageing in Developing Countries, expert on the Task Forces on Dignified Ageing within AGE Platform Europe-Belgium, and International Secretary of the Maltese Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (MAGG). 

Her research interests are in dementia, ageism and social policy.
