Our role in your privacy

If you are a student of Learning Works  or just visiting the page, this policy applies to you. We take your privacy very seriously, so please read the following notice to better understand our goals.

When and how we collect your data

All data we collect is given to us with your understanding that we do not collect any data automatically without your knowledge. With that said all the information we collect for the below reasons, is obtained through our contact us form, and over the phone:

  1. Submitting a testimonial;
  2. Applying for a course
  3. Contacting us.

What data do we collect?

We only collect the minimum amount of data required and only related to the purposes mentioned below.

We only collect anonymous analytical cookie data that does not in any way identify you (Refer to Cookie Policy).

Testimonials are not collected through the website but are done with your permission at the academy.

Why do we use your data?

  • Course Enrolement

We need require the application forms to be filled in accordingly to assess if you are eligable to attend the course, and to contact you should your application be accepted or denied.

  • Submitting a Testimonial

We do not need as much information from you to be able to write or appear in video recorded testimonial, we do, however, require some data to increase validity and trust to potential future applicants.

  • Marketing and /newsletters

We only send marketing material if you give us your consent to do so by separately registering for that service. You always have the choice to opt-out of this service. The type of marketing material would be related to courses available at the academy.

How long do we keep your data?

Any data relating to queries will be kept until the query is resolved. data relating to your past appointments and trading data (administration and accounts documents referring to transactions) is kept for 10 years after termination of our business relationship.

Transferring your data.

We do not transfer or disclose your data to any third parties.

Your privacy choices and rights

You may choose not to provide us with any personal data and continue to browse our website, but we will not be able to process any customer support queries or any actions relating to your appointment bookings.

You can turn off cookies in your browser by changing its settings, however we only collect anonymous data for the purpose of analytics. This data helps us better understand our audience, so if this does not bother you, then we ask you to allow cookies.
