Pauline Dalli

Lecturing Sectors: Health & Social Care

Ms. Pauline Dalli completed her first degree, a B.Ed (Hons.) in Home Economics, in 2009. She began her career teaching Design and Technology at Kullegg San Benedittu, Kirkop, before joining St. Joseph School, Sliema in January 2010 as a Home Economics teacher, where she taught Forms 1–5. She later continued her teaching journey within the primary sector, working at St. Edward’s College (Year 4) during the 2017/18 scholastic year and at Chiswick House School (Year 5).

In January 2019, Ms. Dalli re-joined the public service as a Health and Social Care teacher at St. Lucija Secondary School, where she taught Years 9–11 and worked across SEC, AVC, and SEAC syllabi. Her professional experience extends across Church schools, private institutions, and state schools at both primary and secondary levels.

Ms. Dalli earned her M.Ed in Health, Family and Consumer Studies (2013–2016). She also obtained the Professional Award in Education Administration and Management (MQF Level 5) from LEAD Services, achieving a Grade A, as well as the ILM Level 6 Diploma in Management with the Malta Business Leaders. In addition to her classroom work, she delivers Educational Cope Sessions in schools, provides educational talks to parents, guardians, and staff, and collaborates with the Institute for Further Education.

Her previous roles include lecturing on subjects related to the MQF Level 4 Diploma in Child Care, delivering First Aid and Food Handling courses, and contributing to the Early Years Senior Practitioner programme. She has also taught adults through the Lifelong Learning Department at Tarxien Primary School. Ms. Dalli has served as Coordinator of both Skola Sajf Sliema and Klabb 3-16 Sliema, and has worked with the Karl Vella Foundation in Attard, teaching Maltese and English to primary students both onsite and online.

Currently, Ms. Dalli lectures for the Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care, serves as a teaching practice tutor and mentor with the University of Malta, and delivers the culture component of the IBelong programme. She is also a guest speaker on topics such as First Aid, Nutrition, and Wellbeing, and works as a MATSEC marker. In addition, she was appointed by MEYR as a Community Coordinator within the Lifelong Learning Department, specialising in NGO-focused initiatives and non-public courses.

Ms. Dalli recently completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Educational Mentoring (Level 7) at the University of Malta and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Leadership Education with the Institute for Further Education.
