Yanica Sciberras is a passionate healthcare leader, lecturer, and registered nurse with extensive experience in hospital and long-term care settings. She currently serves as Charge Nurse at Healthmark SVPR, leading a multidisciplinary team and fostering a psychologically safe and high-performing care environment. Yanica is dedicated to empowering healthcare teams through ongoing training, clear communication, and adherence to ethical clinical practices.

In addition to her management role, Yanica lectures at MCAST, IDEA Academy, and Learning Works College, teaching modules in work-based practice, gerontology, ethical decision-making, infection control, clinical simulation, fundamental nursing procedures, and Level 6 healthcare management. She is known for her supportive teaching style and her ability to turn real-world clinical challenges into meaningful learning experiences for future nurses.

Yanica holds a Degree in Nursing Studies, a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Management and Leadership, and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management in Healthcare. She is currently researching conflict resolution within multidisciplinary healthcare teams, a reflection of her commitment to collaborative practice and patient-centred care. Guided by integrity, professionalism, and compassion, Yanica strives to enhance healthcare quality while preparing the next generation of nursing professionals to thrive in an ever-evolving sector.
