Ray Camilleri is the Quality Assurance Manager at Learning Works, a post he has been occupying for the past three years.
He is in possession of a bachelor’s degree in languages, a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate obtained from the TEFL Academy, Ireland and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with English as the main subject. He has a master’s degree in education and a Diploma in Educational Administration and Management. Throughout his career he has actively participated in various training courses both locally and abroad, while recently contributing to seminars organised by the Malta Further and Higher Education.
Mr Camilleri spent ten years teaching in State Secondary Schools and another ten years as Education Officer where he was responsible for syllabus design, examination paper setting and recruitment and support of teachers. He also taught English as a foreign language for a number of years. From 2003 to 2020 he was Director of various departments within the Education Division including Curriculum Management and eLearning and School Internal Review.
