Louise Grech Abela is an experienced Maltese educator with over 26 years of teaching at San Andrea School, Mgarr, where she teaches Maltese and Maltese as a Foreign Language. She holds a B.Ed. (Hons.) in Maltese and Early & Middle Years from the University of Malta, as well as Postgraduate Certificates in Educational Mentoring and in the Teaching of Maltese as a Foreign Language. Alongside her teaching, she mentors trainee teachers and newly qualified educators, and serves as a Teaching Practice Tutor at the University of Malta.
Louise has contributed extensively to educational initiatives, coordinating cultural exchanges and educational trips across Europe, and delivering lessons within the University’s I Belong Programme. She has also worked as an examiner at SEC and Intermediate levels, and published Maltese literary reviews in The Sunday Times of Malta. With a passion for the Maltese language, Louise remains committed to fostering linguistic, cultural, and academic growth in all her learners.
